Optima Fibre Optic Blades and Handles

Fibre optic illumination - providing the user with a bright, white light (courtesy of a 2.8v halogen bulb)

which is directed exactly to where illumination is needed by the fibre optic core

ISO fitting - All blades are made to the ISO 7376/3 standard fitting for fibre optic laryngoscopes ensuring

that all blades and handles in the system are completely interchangeable

Modular Design - Optima is a modular system, breaking down into just seven major components,

any of which can be easily replaced in case of malfunction

Replaceable Fibre Optics - The ability to quickly remove the fibre optic cores for cleaning, maintenance

or replacement enables the system to be simple and cost effective to maintain

All Optima blades and handles are fully autoclaveable

Versatility - The Optima system features a range of over a dozen different blade patterns, covering

specialised areas such as difficult intubation, paediatrics and cleft palate work

Handles are available with the option of battery power or long lasting rechargeable cells
